Have you always wanted to be part of a meaningful project? Our projects can help you build capacity and support long-term goals in the underserved local communities?
The Maranatha Hope Foundation
The The Maranatha Hope Foundation is dedicated to developing, informing and promoting innovative programmes to ensure the prevention of suffering and address livelihoods of FHH especially in the context of multiple stresses including poverty, food insecurity and malnutrition, HIV, gender-based violence (GBV), climate change and most recently the impact of COVID 19. Its approach of choice will be to provide holistic and long-term interventions for this target group.
MHF was founded to alleviate poverty among FHH in Southern Africa. It is estimated that, in Africa, one in four households are FHH. Southern Africa has substantially higher rates, and the data shows a continuing increase (World Bank, 2015). FHH in the region face multiple stresses, vulnerability, and marginalization which have been exacerbated by the COVID -19 pandemic, HIV/AIDS, and gender-based violence.
Donate Towards Our KZN Baseline Survey
The MHF will be conducting a Baseline Study in selected districts in KwaZulu Natal. The study is aimed at providing a reference point for the interventions that the MHF will be rolling out in its constituency. This activity will help identify progress indicators to measure the impact of the project while conducting monitoring and evaluation.
